Whangarei Wedding of Eva and Kelsin
Eva and Kelsin are almost certainly the luckiest couple I've ever photographed... but before I state the obvious, they already had a magnificent wedding day planned in Northland. Kelsin is a local boy and met Eva in Australia, where they both now live. We wanted a wedding at home so they combined the picturesque backdrop of the Whangarei harbour for their ceremony, then everyone went back to The Barge Park Showgrounds for the reception. What no one could have guessed was that at 7pm that night, the Aurora would put on a show. It did meant interrupting dinner... but we raced outside to see, what I can only describe as, a once in a lifetime moment.
